Ramblings

We have had a exciting, emotional rollar coaster this weekend. Friday I was talking to a friend in the ward and she had mentioned that they were putting in a new 1st counseler in the Bishobric on Sunday. We both laughed and said our husbands were not it because we had not had any phone calls.Saturday I had ran to the Grocery store to get a few things for lunch. I had been having a really hard day. I had been telling Kerry that I was tired and I didn't like my kids and I was just plain overwhelmed.When I came in from the grocery store I started to prepare lunch. Kerry was sitting at the counter working on his lap top. He said Ashley tell Mom who just called. Ashley said the school crossing gaurd. I think I just about had a come apart. Kerry was not aware that I knew that the school crossing gaurd was also the stake secretary. I asked him what he wanted and he said that he had an appointment with the stake president on Sunday at 10.He also informed me I was to come with him. The rest of the day my head would not work. I kept playing the what if game. I really hoped it would be something in the Elders quorum. I called my mom and warned her to be prepared to come to our ward on Sunday. I explained what was happening. I think Kerry and I knew what was really going to happen we have sort of been prepared for it.
Sunday morning Kerry got called to be the Bishops 1st counselor. I really am not sure what I think of the whole thing. I think that he will do an amazing job, and he will enjoy it, but I am scared to be a single mom most of the time. I am scared of the unknown. I think that it will all work out and that we will be blessed. I know that it is what we are supposed to be doing right now and the Lord knows what I can handle. I hope that everyone can keep us in your prayers these first couple of weeks. I am grateful that I have lots of family in the ward.
We are also very excited to be welcoming a little boy into our home. I am relieved that Kerry will finally get his son to pass his name on to. I cried when the doctor said it was a boy. I even asked him if he was joking. I think that it will take a while for it to kick in, probably even till we have him. I got a few boy clothes with my mom yesterday. I kept veering to the girls stuff. Any help in the boy area would be greatly appreciated.

Its a Boy! Just thought I would let our little secret out. We are finally getting a boy. No more bows and and no more fancy hair dos. We are starting all over.

Goodbye training wheels

Kerry took Maddies training wheels off yesterday. She did such a great job. She took off right away, and never fell over. She learned to stop herself and start herself. Way to go Maddie We love you

I am slowly but surely progressing. I feel huge and I am not even halfway there.

potty time

We are so excited to anounce that our youngest daughter lexi is now potty trained. She is so awesome and I cannot tell you what a relief it is.

Thursday, July 24, 2008 — For her visit, Jenneira brought enough intergalactic S.W.A.G. (a.k.a. stuff we all get) for everyone in Millsberry to enjoy. In her box of space goodies we found some snowballs from Neptune, a little Plutonian wallpaper, a moon buggy and adorable alien pets from the Orion Nebula. She also left everyone some authentic intergalactic space suits.

I figured I had better update all of my other beautifull girls Here is Maddie our fashion consultant. She has a very strong opinion about her clothing and hates Dresses.
Megan is our chronicaly ill child. She thinks that something is always wrong with her. But on the flip side she is a great babysitter and she loves to read . I do not know what I would do without her. She makes life fun
This is Ashley she loves to watch T.V. She will do anything to watch T.V. She loves to play with little kids and her Aunts love her to entertain her cousins
We love all of our girls and I am not sure if I would want a Boy. I guess I will just take what I get and I will be happy.

Lexi

This lovely post is dedicated to Lexi our sweet little 2 1/2 year old. She has been so fun lately. She loves life. She is Daddys little girl and the first thing she says in the morning is "where is daddy" The picture above is her when she was supposed to be brushing her teeth for bed.

This picture is her with her planes and lizards. She loves to get Kerrys model "Cycles" (motorcycles) of the shelf along with his planes. She lines them up in a row and then wants to play with you. She brings them to me and says Hi baby.I am supposed to be the baby and she is the mom. She is so creative. We love you Lexi.

I know I know. I haven't posted again for awhile. I am still sick and would love some great advice on how to get out of the sickness rut. I feel like I am getting better but I cannot get the energy to do anything. I am so tired all of the time. Does anybody have any tips.
I am also looking for a good house cleaner. I have yet to find a good house cleaner. I just need someone every other week to come and do floors and bathrooms. I just cannot keep up. If you have any good reccomendations I would love to hear.
I have loved being with my kids lately. We just had our family reunion and it was a blast. We went to Sand hollow were are 3 older girls got the swimmers itch. We had a blast anyway. Madi loved going on the boat and stopping for a swim every few minutes. Lexi fell asleep on the boat. Megan loved the tube once she figured it out. Ashley just love all of it. Kerry got out on the jet skis and made me drive them and thats when I figured out that I loved them.
The next day we came to our house and had a wonderful breakfast. We swam in Tyson and Loris pool and we watched a movie in our theater. We went and had a BBQ at Mom and Dads and then went to our traditonal spot at the park and watched the fireworks.
On saturday we went out to Ryans and Lils and went 4 wheeling and hung out. The kids loved it and said this was there favorite day.
Overall we had a blast and it was fun to see our family get together. We did miss Jessica and Chris but we know we will see them soon.
Hope this is a good enough blog update.

Woohoo 2 days till our family reunion. I am so excited to see all of our family together again. Except Jessica and Chris that is. I have still been sick and hope to kick it here soon. The kids have enjoyed the summer and have officially banned the water park from our agenda and would rather go to Ross and Terias to swim in there pool. Kerry is still working on his excercises and stretches and we hope to see a quick recovery with his stuff. Sorry this is such a short update.

yesterday -me, tyler and my brothers tysen and daimen went out for a little ride up to veyo and back, perfect weather, great bikes, lots of fun.

Our kids where in a cute little progam this last two weeks were they helped put together a play.

Ashley was our little star fish Maddie was a seahorse and Megan was a hammer head shark. They all had singing and speaking parts. They did the play tonight and did such a good job. Maddie was not shy at all she stole the show with her cute smile.

Kudos to Mckensi

I forgot to mention how wonderful my little sister Mckensi is. She came over 1 1/2 hours before the reception to do all of our hair. Don't we all look amazing. I really loved Megan and Ashleys hair I wish I could do it that well.

chocalate challenge

Being sick has its advantages and disadvantages. I had a pretty yucky sick day and as you can tell the kids had a wonderful time getting themselves some chocolate milk. Kerry walked in just in time. I was back in my room laying down and I never saw a thing until I pulled this picture up to blog it. Kerry was such a sweetheart he cleaned it all up and the kids. I always wonder how my kids and my house are going to make it through pregnancy but they always seem to. This is Madison ,Lexi and Hallie. Hallie came out the cleanest. Maybe it was because she didn,t want to get her princess outfit dirty.

Maddie

Madison has a hard time going to sleep at night.

One night after fighting her all night we found her fast asleep with this awesome easter basket on her head. This was after she found the quiet books and stripped them of all there peices, got ten drinks, and told us she loved us and needed a hug or a kiss several times

I know as a parent we find our kids doing some of the funniest things. What are some funny sleeping things your kids have done?

Here is another one of our fun craft day. We made butterflies out of pipe cleaners and pom poms. we had a blast.

Happy Birthday Janae !
well, its janae's birthday today, just thought i'd mention a few things about her

she is getting really good at sewing, she has made about 49 bizilion quiet book pages (i thout 50 bizilion would be a bit of an exaggeration), not all of them are ours, she has helped quite a few people with theirs and other little progects like making little aprons for the kids so that when she does craft day with the kids they dont get as messy and have something fun to wear, and she is pretty crafty, she has made about 48 bizilion bridal shower and baby shower invitations, they allways look real nice, everyone saves them in their scrapbooks and stuff, and, she is really good at making sure that the kids make it to their little activities and stuff, and doing fun stuff with the little ones that dont go to school, She is also a good cook, sure there are some things she makes that i dont like, but she does make alot of really good stuff, and she does a good job of trying to do things for me that i like, and shes really good at remembering other peoples birthdays and stuff.

This is a cute picture of Lexi. Yesterday when I was getting ready she climbed into the cubbard and shut the door. I ran and got the camera and she would open and shut the door saying cheese.

Pizza

I think that this time of day is my favorite. It is 7 am and all my kids are still asleep. I am able to do whatever I want within reason. We had a blast welcoming home Daimen yesterday. He seems to be healthy and happy. We are going to be having a pizza part for him on Saturday. Anyone is welcome just call me for the details. If you have not had Breckens brick oven pizza yet this is your chance. I swear I always eat way to much.

Missionary homecoming.

Kerry's little brother Daimen is coming home from his mission today. We are so excited.He first was called and sent to Tonga . Were he had some troubles with some other missionaries. He had the choice to stick it out in the mission home the rest of the mission or choose another mission. He happily went to Oreogon were he finally got to be a real missionary. I am so proud of him. There Dad died two years before his mission and he still got prepared and served a faithful mission. Way to go Daimen.
When Kerry and I got married his brother Brecken was on his mission. I first met him at the airport when he got home. The funny thing was that I was 7 months prego and Kerry had dropped me off at the front doors while he parked because we were almost late. I ran in the doors and there he was. I was the only family there. His flight was a little early and the rest of his family was right behind Kerry.Talk about awkward. Luckily there was no question who he was they all look alike.
So today I think that I will walk in the doors with Kerry and not ruin the first moment of seeing him. Does anyone have any good mission reunion stories

Sickness

Kerry is sick. That is such a rare occasion in itself it is definatley newsworthy. He has slept for 3 days now. I think that I have learned in these three days how much he really does with the kids. I climb into bed with him at night and feel like I havent seen him all day. I really have missed out on his companionship.
He did make it to church yesterday for testimony meeting but immediatly went home to sleep.
He even missed work today. He has had a little fever and his whole body is sore. But what I notice the most is his sleep. Poor Guy hope he gets better soon.

We have had a very busy week around here. I have had two Modbe parties and then the what woman want expo, were we have a booth. I also am the Young women sports director and we have had indoor soccer start this week. What a fun sport I love working with the Young Women and seeing there self esteem grow from sports.
Bree and Tyler are moving back to St. George for a few months and we are so excited to see them today.
Megan is excelling in school and has had a couple of school parties were they recognize the top students. She also had a birthday party.
Ashley is in Gymnastics and is very good at it. She is in level 4 and I would not be surprised to see her jump very fast.
Madison is, well just Madison. She is earnig money for going to bed and not getting out or yelling from her room.
Lexi loves baths, milk and excaping to Emmas to play with Mason.
Kerry is still doing search and rescue and obviously from previous posts is still into Motorcycles.(or as Lexi says CYCLES) The Concrete buisness has slowed down considerably and so he is getting alot done on our yard.

We had a pool day today. The kids had so much fun. Cherina pulled out her new pool and we filled it with warm water and the kids had a blast.

Lexi Lou

This is Lexi at 10:00 p.m.She was fast asleep with the book wide open in her lap. This was after she came out of her room to get, a drink, snack, mom to sing her another song, ashley(who was asleep) Maddie who gladley tagged along, and just whatever else she could come out about. She finally fell silent and we were relieved that she finally conked out at about 9:45 with book in hand. We sure do love her. She is such a joy to have around
